Passenger carries knife in hair
A woman tried to take a fruit knife on board a flight at the Kunming Changshui International Airport on Oct 6 by putting it in her hair and telling security screeners it was an accessory, provincial television reported.
The passenger, a visitor from Nanning in Guangxi who was travelling to Yunnan during the National Day holiday, was reportedly carrying a large amount of fruit she bought during her trip and wanted to cut it up.
"She bought some fruits when travelling in Yunnan and worried that the waiting time to board would be long. So she wanted to bring a fruit knife to cut up her food as a snack," Chen Zhijun, a security worker said.
Security staff didn't agree with her declaration that the knife was used to keep her hair up and confiscated it.
