After days of torrential rains, Chongqing's Wushan county was more beautiful than ever, with clouds winding through the mountains.

The county is located at the western entrance to the Wu Gorge in the Three Gorges region. Wushan is known for its Little Three Gorges, located on the nearby Daning River.

Wushan Mountain in the county is known for its legends of a goddess and stunning autumn views.

As of Thursday, 28 districts and counties in Chongqing had been hit with heavy rain, with one person dead and another missing. The downpour has affected more than 60,000 people, according to the local flood and drought control headquarters.
