Five children from MaxFacta, a community-based rescue center in Nairobi, Kenya, receive sweaters weaved by Chinese volunteer parents and soaps donated by a Chinese pharmaceutical company Aug 28. These children's parents died of AIDS. They are among 2,000 orphans in Africa who will be receiving hand-made sweaters via the program "Hi in Africa" sponsored by a Chinese clothing company. The program was initiated in 2005 and provided Chinese volunteers with free knitting wool to make sweaters for domestic and international orphans. [Photo by Feng Xin/chinadaily.com.cn]
