A robot that grabs red envelopes

Receiving cash-filled virtual red envelopes is very popular in China. It first came to prominence during the 2014 Spring Festival after Tencent promoted them on their WeChat platform that boasts 600 million users a month.

Recently, some young innovators in Guokr Lab created a robot for grabbing envelopes. Guokr Lab, a project of Guokr.com, was founded in 2011. It composes an offline lab, an online open source community, as well as some active innovators.
