With no smile and only sharp teeth, two robotic dinosaurs standing at the reception desk are always ready to help customers check in.
They are professional attendants working for Henn na Hotel in Chiba, Japan, the second robot-staffed hotel operated by H.I.S. Hotel Holdings Co.
Robots in this hotel can attend guests in English, Chinese and Japanese languages and every room is equipped with a concierge robot called "Tapia", who can talk to customers or can carry out such services as turning on or off TV or providing weather forecast and news.
The hotel opened on Wednesday and the room rent starts from 17,000 yen per night. H.I.S. Hotel launched its first robot hotel in Japan's Nagasaki in 2015.
