Some traditional Tibetan homes in Yingguan village, Sichuan, have been turned into tourist destinations, Oct 13. Currently, about 50 households, half the total number of households in the village engage in home-inn businesses, most of them also provide Tibetan food. In October 2014, each household that operated in the accommodation business made an average of 8000 yuan ($1306). Many of the businesses benefitted from the Oct 1 to Oct 8 Golden Week Holiday. The annual per capital income of Yingguan village in 2008 was 3000 yuan ($489). In 2012 that number surged to 6500 yuan ($1061). According to the village head, the number is expected to surpass.
