A brand-new cultural park built on the site of a handicraft market in Shijingshan district in Beijing opened to the public on Sept 19.
As the second Lang Park in the capital, the location represents an innovative practice integrating many cultural sectors such as arts center, garden galleries and style catering.

Originally a market for antiques and handicrafts, this new park inherits the region's historical flavor.
It consists of a large-scale classic archeological complex covering more than 30,000 square meters. And within the park, the Chongguo Tower, a lama tower from Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), has been kept intact.
