The Chinese National Silk Museum in Beijing is currently showcasing silk pieces painted by artists from 14 Central and Eastern European countries.
Highlighting silk and tradition, the exhibition honors the historical heritage tracing back to the ancient Silk Road.
The project was launched one year ago. Every artist received 8 meters of white silk as blank canvas. After two-month of creative work, the fabric was sent back to China and turned into robes.
