196 villagers' death-defying getaway

A man uses a ropeway to go over across a valley on July 23, 2013 in Central China's Hubei province. The 1000-meter ropeway has been the only shortcut for 196 Yushan villagers to get in and out of their home area, surrounded by mountains on three sides, since it was established in 1997.
